How to install Custom Recovery on Xiaomi Mi4i ? ( Solved )

Xiaomi Mi4i the perfect SmartPhone in Shape as well as style. Recently Xiaomi Mi4i has launched a Smartphone is great but the Chinese users felt that they are left with some of the features. They still want some better. The Xiaomi Mi4i has good specs and style although it has something for the Local Market but Xiaomi knows that it has something better for the Domestic Market also.

Today we are gonna tell you how to unlock Xiaomi Mi4i boot-loader and install custom recovery on it.
Here are the requirements that you need in this process:


REQUIREMENTS:

1) PC

2) Download and install phone USB divers from here

3) Download and extract ADB Drivers and files related to it.

4) Download twrp.img and put it in ADB drivers folder.

STEPS:

1) Switch of your phone and take out the battery and reinsert it.Now press power button+volume up button (volume button) simultaneously depend from phone to phone.Now you will enter recovery mode,now choose fast-boot mode and enter it by pressing down button.

2) Now connect your phone to PC via USB cable.

3) Now search for adb folder in c drive and double click on that folder.

4) Now shift+right click on empty space in adb folder and chose command prompt. Now command box will open.

 5) Now type these commands as instructed-

=> fast-boot devices

=> fast-boot oem unlock

=> fast-boot flash recovery recovery. Img. ( For example :recovery twrp.img )

=> fast-boot reboot

6) Now remove the battery before phone boots and disconnect ur phone from pc.

7) Now again press power button+volume up button simultaneously.
 
Select recovery. Done!!!!

You have successfully installed custom recovery.

Important:

=> Place recovery image in adb folder . 

=> Take backup of your data because unlocking boot-loader will factory reset your phone
