How to install custom recovery and How to root Lenovo A6000 ?

PRE-REQUIREMENTS

=> Backup all your personal and important data you need.

=> Enable USB Debugging Mode by navigating to

Settings -> Developer Options -> USB Debugging

=> Download Lenovo A6000 USB drivers from here

=> Charge your device upto 75%

Now proceed to the further steps.

Install CWM Recovery In Lenovo A6000

=> Download Minimal ADB and Fastboot from here

=> Install it on your computer.

=> Download the CWM recovery image from here

=> Save the downloaded image in the directory where you have installed Minimal ADB and Fastboot

=> Now connect your device to the computer ( with USB Debugging enabled )

=> Navigate to the folder where you installed Minimal ADB and Fastboot program

=> Click SHIFT + F10 to open command window there

=> Enter following commands one by one

adb devices

adb reboot Bootloader

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

fastboot reboot

Now you have successfully installed custom recovery on your device. Now you can root your Lenovo A6000.

=> Download Lenovo A6000 Rooting Kit from here.

=> Copy it to your SD card in the outermost directory

=> Switch off your smartphone

=> Press the Volume Down and Power Button simultaneously to boot into the CWM recovery mode.

=> Select “Install zip from SD card”

=> Choose the Rooting Kit which you saved on your SD Card (Root-SuperSU-v2.37.zip).

=> Once the rooting kit is flashed, reboot your device.

You are done. You have successfully rooted your Lenovo A6000
