Run Windows apps on Android
The two leading operating systems in the world Android and Windows have their seperate features and seperate user interface but what if user of Android wants to use windows application ? Does it seems to look like a joke ? But now this is going to be possible. People using android will be able top use windows applications too.
The company " Codeweavers " who designs applications for windows operating is working on such software which will enable android users to use windows operating systems on their smartphones and tablets. Its an emulator kind of software. This software has been named " crossover ". Microsoft informed its users about this software through their website.
INTEL ATOM PROCESSOR IS MUST TO HAVE
Microsoft made it clear that this will be available only to users having Intel atom chipset. But most of the tablets in market come with ARM chipset. Also the device must have a RAM of 2GB. But a drawback of this software is that latest continum technique of windows cannot be used on it. In the continum technique the phone can be used as computer. The developers have made it clear that software will be available to the users after few days, It will not have any beta version and the software will be absolutely free.
DEVICES HAVING INTEL ATOM PROCESSOR
Few tablets in the market such as Lenovo Yoga 2 , Dell K Venue 10 7000 series , Nokia N1 etc. come with the intel atom processor. Except this few smartphones like Asus Zenfone 2 and Lenovo K900 are loaded with this processor. But it is not clear that whether this software will work in smartphones or not.
11 CRORE WINDOWS 10 USERS
According to recent stats of Microsoft , after the launch of Windows 10 on 29 July , about 11 crore users are using Microsoft Windows 10 till date. Microsoft has set a target of 100 crore users within next 2-3 years. Windows app store has also been visited by 100 crore users. Also 80 lakhs business computers are working on windows 10.
