How to fix "Unfortunately the application has stopped" error ? ( Solved )

"Unfortunately the application has stopped" is a very common problem in the smartphones. It seems to be very frustrating when we need any app urgently and it shows an error like this.

Most of us think it as a very enormous and unsolvable problem. But it is not so. You can solve it easily by following some simple steps.

CLEARING APP DATA

It is the most simple and relevant method to solve this problem. You can use this method easily by following some simple steps.

=> Open Menu ( App Drawer )

=> Go to Settings

=> Click on Applications

=> Navigate to All Tab in Applications menu

=> Click on the application which is causing problem

For E.g. Camera

=> Click on Clear Data

=> Reboot your Smartphone

REINSTALLING THE APP

This method may prove to be convenient. Just once reinstalling the app may solve your problem.

=> Try installing it in internal memory

=> Install it from trusted source only ( Recommended Google Play Store )

SOFT RESET

Soft resetting may be handy as it helps you to solve your problem without any risk of data loss. Soft Reset means simply rebooting you smartphone. It will clear the cache and will restart the application which may solve your problem.

HARD RESET / FACTORY RESET

This is the most heart breaking option but the last option left. It will tend to lose all your data so make sure that you have a backup of your data. Most probably this method will solve your problem. There are two methods to follow this.

Method 1

=> Go to Menu ( App Drawer )

=> Click on Settings

=> Locate Backup Data and Reset option and click on it

=> Click on Factory Reset

=> Wait for the whole process to complete and you are done after that

Method 2

=> Shut Down your Phone

=> Restart it in Recover Mode by clicking VOLUME UP BUTTON + POWER BUTTON simultaneously

=> Choose Wipe Data / Factory Reset option from Volume Up and Down Button and select it from the 

Power Button

=> Now choose Yes option

=> Wait for the process to complete and you are done
