How To Transfer WhatsApp Conversation To New Devices (Solved)
Hey guys today we will tell you how to transfer your WhatsApp conversation to New Devices. WhatsApp is one of the most popular communication tools on the planet. But if you get a new Smartphone, and want to transfer your account to new device, your old messages don't automatically come with you. Our ProTecher team will give you the solution of this problem. Follow the steps you will be able to get your old conversation.
Recently I got the new Smartphone in my hand and their is a problem of old WhatsApp messages too. As I this is not a very big problem for some of the people, but I have to backup my data and my old messages too. I really wanted to save my Chat history.
As these methods were become more easy as WhastApp is upgrading day by day which includes the automatic Google Drive Backups, which is more easier too. Launch the application in your Smartphone and you will see the three dots tap on it and go to the Settings > Chats and Calls > Chat Backup. From here, you can now backup your chats manually. You can also set the settings to Automatically also. Whenever your WhatsApp is Reinstalled, it will ask you to backup your Chats and multimedia from Google Drive. That's all you have to do.
If you've yet to receive the Google Drive WhastApp update, it's luckily still quite easy to create a backup. If you want to save your chats and continue as normal on a different device, simply proceed as follows:-
- First create your chat history on your old Smartphone. To do this you will have to open the Settings menu of the WhatsApp, tap on the Chats and calls and then tap Chat Backup.
- Connect your Smartphone with the USB cable to the PC and navigate to the Internal Memory of the device to the Folder WhatsApp/Database. Here are all the Backup files saved with a date. They will look like "msgstore-2013-05-29.db.crypt". Copy the File with latest date of creation onto your PC in an easy to find Location.
- Install WhastApp onto your new Smartphone device But do not Launch the Application!!!
- Now connect your new Device with the USB to the PC. Because you've already downloaded WhastApp onto your Smartphone device. The folder so called WhatsApp/ Databases should now exists. If it is not, you can manually create a new Databases Folder in the WhastApp folder yourself.
- Now copy the WhastApp conversation backup file into this Folder.
