How to unlock bootloader of HTC One A9 ? ( Solved )
HTC One A9 is the latest smartphone launched by the company. The phone has some mouthwatering specs and is featuring a great range of Deca-Core processors making it worthy of its price.
Here are the development options provided to you by the ProTecher team. The first one is the Unlocking of Bootloader.
PRE-REQUIREMENTS
=> Download and Install your device USB Drivers
CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD
=> Download and install ADB and Fastboot Drivers
CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD
=> Keep your device charged upto 70% for unlocking without any obstruction
=> Make a backup of all your important stuff including SMS, Contacts, etc.
PROCEDURE
=> Go to this link of HTC Dev website
CLICK HERE TO GO TO THE WEBSITE
=> Register there and completely verify your account for further procedure
=> Go to this link for login
CLICK HERE TO GO TO THE LOGIN PAGE
=> Click on Unlock Bootloader
=> Click on Get Started
=> Create a new folder on PC naming it as "onea9unlock" ( remove double quotes )
=> Open the folder you just created
=> Click SHIFT + F10 to open command window there
=> Connect your device to PC
=> Type following code in the command window to turn it on in download mode
adb reboot download
=> Type following code in the command window and press enter
fastboot oem
get_identifier_token
=> Copy the text starting from <<<Identifier token start>>> to <<<Identifier token end>>>
=> Go to this link
CLICK HERE TO GO
=> Click on My Device Identifier Token
=> Paste the code you just copied from the command window and click on Submit button
=> you will receive an E-mail from HTC Dev with a file named unlock_code.bin attached to it
=> Download it and transfer it to the folder you created and open command window again by clicking SHIFT + F10 button simultaneously
=> Type following commands
fastboot flash
unlocktoken
Unlock_code.bin
=> Now have a look at phone. It will be asking for permission. Choose yes from volume button and select it using power button
=> Wait for the process to complete and you are done
You have successfully unlocked the bootloader of HTC One A9
