How to Restore Stock Firmware in Moto E 2nd Gen ?
Hello friends here is all new post for you. Now you can restore stock firmware in your Motorola Moto E 2nd gen.(XT1524) i.e. Android Lollipop.
Now start with guide/tutorial to install/flash stock firmware in your Moto E 2nd gen.
# Step to Install STOCK FIRMWARE Android lollipop on Moto E(2nd gen.):
5. Now, reboot your device by typing below command
mfastboot reboot

1. Turn off your mobile and then hold the Volume Down + Power buttons simultaneously for a few seconds. After few seconds release it and you will get into Moto E Bootloader.
2. Now, connect your Moto E (2012) to your PC via USB cable, go to the folder where the firmware is located and launch a command window from there (Press Shift key, right click and select ‘Open command window here’)
3. Now type given below commands and execute them step by step:
mfastboot oem fb_mode_set
mfastboot flash
partition gpt.bin
mfastboot flash
bootloader bootloader.img
mfastboot flash logo logo.bin
mfastboot flash boot boot.img
mfastboot flash recovery recovery.img
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.0
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.1
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.2
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.3
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.4
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.5
mfastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
mfastboot erase modemst1
mfastboot erase modemst2
mfastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn
mfastboot erase cache
mfastboot erase userdata
mfastboot erase customize
mfastboot oem config carrier vzwmfastboot oem fb_mode_clear
You can also use given bat file to execute the above code automatically, for download click ‘MotoEXT1524flashall.bat’ file, place it inside the firmware folder and run the file.
4. Now, if you want to relock your Moto E 2nd gen's bootloader, type the following command and press enter
mfastboot oem lock
mfastboot oem lock
5. Now, reboot your device by typing below command
mfastboot reboot
