How To Speed Up Your Nexus 6P
We are here with the new problem that many of the users face. The Nexus 6P Performance, the Nexus 6P is the best Nexus we have ever but that's not mean it is perfect. The Nexus 6P has a powerful processor still it is sometimes get slow down. If you want more from the Smartphone then you have to follow the ways to speed up your Nexus 6P.
1. Speed up Animations:
As we all know that the Android Smartphone is user-friendly and has a Developer Mode as it is one of the best feature. The Developer Option is hidden by default, and to enable that you need a special method. The Developer Option reduces the amount of time animation take in order to make your device feel faster.
To enable Developer Mode, go to Settings > About the Smartphone and Tap Build Number seven times. The Notification will be given by the Smartphone that you are now a developer. The Developer option will be shown at the bottom of the Settings page, now go to the Window Animation scale and change it, transition scale and animator duration scale to 0.5x each. The difference in the speed is quite remarkable.
The Nexus 6P has a fingerprint sensor, which for no good reason Google has lumbered with the daft name of Nexus Imprint.
Using the fingerprint sensor to unlock your Smartphone saves valuable seconds. These little savings soon add up to something substantial, and if you also use fngers to authenticate Google Play purchses that will skip of many passwords. To enable the Fingerprint sensors in the Settings > Imprint.
3. Launch Camera with the Power Button:
Need to shoot something in a hurry? Forget unlocking the Smartphone and finding the camera app, just tap the power button twice. That opens the Stock camera app; you can set a different camera app in Settings > Apps > Camera > Open By Default > Clear Defaults.
Once you have done that, Double tap the power button and then you have to choose thec camera app you want as the default. It's simple trick but that saves your lot of time over the life of your Nexus, and also it can make the difference between getting the perfect photo or missing altogether.
4. Factory Reset:
Factory Reset is done when the Samrtphone usually slows down. If you have noticed that your Nexus 6P is getting slow down then you have to do a Factory Reset which may restore your Nexus to it's original sleek self. The Factory Reset will wipe out all your data, but you can easily restore from your Google Account you will need to ensure that's been synced before you do it. Before doing Factory Reset you have a Backup everything i.e., important not only files, photos but also login details you migt need too.
To Factory Reset the Nexus 6P first you have to go Settings > Backup and Reset and choose Factory Data Reset. This will delet the data and restart your Smartphone. This will fix the Nexus 6P speed.
6. Customize Quick Settings:
This is more option about improving your performance than the Smartphone's performance, but the end result is still getting things done faster.
If you swipe down the Quick Settings menu and then tap and hold the Settings icon, you will see a pop-up telling you that System UI Tuner has been added to settings. In the Settings, go to System UI Tuner > Quick Settings and you will be able to tap and hold the files to rearrange them.
