Convert your laptop into a virtual Wi-Fi router

=> Make sure you have an working internet connection on your laptop.

=> Navigate to following tabs

Start < Control Panel < Network and Internet < Network and sharing center

=> Choose the option of change adapter settings 

=> Right click on your active internet connection and open properties

=> Navigate to the sharing tab

=> Check the allow other users to use this connection box 

=> In the select private network connection , choose wireless network connection and click ok

=> Now again go back to the network and sharing center page

=> Click on set up a new connection or network

=> Scroll down and choose set up a wireless ad-hoc network

=> Click next and enter your network name and password you want

=> Proceed to the next step and you will have a message your connection is ready to use
