PRE - REQUIREMENTS
=> Download and install Samsung USB Drivers for mobile phones
=> Charge your device upto 80%
=> Enable USB Debugging on your device by going to
Menu < Settings < Developer Options < USB Debugging < Enable
=> Connect your device to PC with USB Debugging enabled
STEPS
=> Download TWRP recovery for Samsung Galaxy J1
=> Download Odin application to flash the custom recovery
=> Extract both these files to on your PC
=> Open the Odin application and keep it running
=> Turn Off your device
=> Press VOLUME DOWN + HOME + POWER BUTTON simultaneously to reboot your device in download mode and release them once the screen appears
If you see a warning screen then press VOLUME UP button to continue
=> Click the PDA/AP button and select the TWRP file that you extracted on your desktop
=> Click start button on Odin app which will flash the TWRP recovery you selected
=> You are done. You have successfully installed TWRP custom recovery on Samsung Galaxy J1
