How to root Samsung Galaxy J1 ? ( Solved )
Samsung which was the leading smartphone brand at a time is not at a very good position in smartphone market today. The reason behind this failure has been the other smartphone companies such as Micromax , Xiaomi , One Plus etc. which are providing extremely fantastic smartphones at a very low prices. Their specifications are so good to be denied.
We should also not forget Moto which is now the leading brand in the online smartphone market. its smartphones remain out of stock most of the times just because of its popularity and its specifications , people purchase it quicky as it comes in stock. This company has also played a vital role in decreasing the sales of Samsung.
Samsung launched a new J series after their S series smartphones to be back in the market. Following their J series they have came into existence once again with their extremely low budget smartphone Samsung Galaxy J1. The phone is loaded with some really good specs.
To customise further its softwares u will need to root which is the final step after unlocking bootloader and installing custom recovery. So here is step by step tutorial by ProTecher team provided for easy method to root Samsung Galaxy J1
PRE - REQUIREMENTS
=> Download and install Samsung USB Drivers for mobile phones
=> Charge your device upto 80%
=> Enable USB Debugging on your device by going to
Menu < Settings < Developer Options < USB Debugging < Enable
=> Connect your device to PC with USB Debugging enabled
STEPS
=> Download Zip File for Samsung Galaxy J1
=> Download Odin application to flash the custom recovery ( It is in the file you have download in the upper step )
=> Extract both these files on your PC
=> Open the Odin application and keep it running
=> Turn Off your device
=> Press VOLUME DOWN + HOME + POWER BUTTON simultaneously to reboot your device in download mode and release them once the screen appears
If you see a warning screen then press VOLUME UP button to continue
=> Click the PDA/AP button and select the boot.tar.md5 from zip file that you downloaded and extracted on your desktop
=> Click start button on Odin app which will flash the file you selected
=> Flashing will take few seconds to complete and once finished your device will reboot
=> Now download iRoot application and install in on your PC
=> Open the application
=> Connect your device to PC again with USB Debugging enabled
=> iRoot will detect your phone
=> Click on start root button to Root your phone
=> i Root will successfully root your smartphone and install King User application on it
=> Your device will reboot and you are done. You have successfully rooted your device.
Note : To check rooting status , see if King User application is installed on your device.
